SYNOPSIS
For a night of drinking , Bruce Landry crushes a man with his little yellow snowplow . After burying the body, he wakes up in the middle of a forest buried under the snow , not knowing where he is. All roads it takes to get out of the forest inevitably bring to his plow . Throughout the day , Bruce faces guilt, confusion , loneliness and cruelty of Mother Nature, while depending more and more of the same weapon of the crime for survival . Set in the winter of northern Quebec , Whitewash is a psychological drama that follows a man , a prisoner of the forest, through their struggle for survival and his quest to find the road to redemption and mental health .
